5 Great Uses for Screen Tarps

There are so many different types of tarps available out there, and one type of tarp that has a variety of different uses is screen tarps. Most people have heard of screen tarps; however, most don’t even know how to use one. So, here are just a few of the great things you can do with a screen tarp.

Use #1 – Protection for Crawl Spaces – Screen tarps are a great idea if you happen to have a crawl space under your home or business. If you don’t have some type of protection for your crawl spaces rodents and pests can get underneath your building and cause a variety of problems. You want to make sure that you can keep these pests and rodents out, and a screen tarp is an excellent way that you can do so.

Use #2 – Great for Fencing in a Garden – Another great use for screen tarps is to use them to fence in your garden. Perhaps you have pets that you’d like to keep out of your garden or you may even need to keep the wild animals out of the garden as well. You can purchase a nice screen tarp for a great price and set it up as a fence around your garden to keep unwanted guests out of your veggies.

Use #3 – Temporary Fencing – If you happen to need some temporary fencing but you don’t want to spend a fortune on fencing, then screen tarps may be a great idea. They won’t cost you as much as fencing will, and as long as the fence you need is only a temporary one, this tarp will do a great job. All you need to do is have a couple stationary objects that you can attach the tarp to and you’ll have the temporary fence you need.

Use #4 – Protection from Pets – Whether you have a pool, screened in porch, or a screened in sunroom, you may want to keep them protected from your pets. You can put screen tarps around these areas along the bottom to help prevent your pet from causing any damage. The tarp is tough and protective and will keep your pool, porch, or sunroom in great shape.

Use #5 – Security for Balconies – If you have a balcony that has an open space below the railing it is important that you provide security at the bottom so that small children or pets won’t fall through the opening. Screen tarps are great for this. You can easily install them around the base of the railing of the balcony and it will keep your pets and children protected.
